If you do purchase the PP, I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as we do. Be sure to keep us updated on what you end up doing. For less money & a lot better fuel economy, we will probably be purchasing our first hybrid which will also be our first Toyota.īTW, welcome to the forum. If it wasn't for the fuel economy difference, I would very likely think about parking a second Passport in the garage. Our Forester is about to turn 100K miles and I would like to trade it. When we step out of the Passport after the same drive, it's like we just took a trip across town. When we get out of the Forester after a 250 mile trip, my wife & I both feel stiff, a bit sore, and just plain tired. The handling, comfort, ride, and sheer driving fun are much better in the Passport. The Passport has 13000 miles - virtually new.Īny comments or experiences anyone has had relative to moving from a smaller machine to a Passport would be appreciated.Īs the owner of a '21 Passport Elite and a '15 Forester Touring model, I can tell you when we take a road trip, we always take the Passport even though we typically get 5-6 mpg less with the Honda. I don't think Honda offers that color any longer. A very nice color combination, in my opinion. The Passport is Deep Scarlet pearl with grey interior. I've test driven the Passport, but can't get the real experience of maneurving in traffic, parking, etc that a larger machine relative to my smaller Subaru. Same engine as my Ridgeline (with a few tweeks probably for better fuel ecomony). However, it's larger, quieter, and potentially more comfortable than my Subaru. With the Passport, I know I'll take a hit on fuel economy. I'm a confirmed Honda man (2009 Ridgeline, 2003 S2000, 2014 CTX1300 motorcycle all currently in my garage). I've had 8 years of absolutely trouble-free ownership, but I really like the looks of the Passport. I bought it new and after 8 years I've got the itch to try a newer machine. I'm a current and happy owner of a 2015 Subaru Forester. I'm a potential new owner of a very nice 2021 Passport Elite.
